  1. Our rosé is made mainly from grapes of a special plot of Cabernet sauvignon, harvested a little before full ripeness. Short skin contact (2 hours)
The clairet is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (dominant) and a few merlot. Full ripeness, best plots of the estate. Skin contact 4 days (no fermentation with skins), then saignee of 10/15% of the vat ; what remains in the vat will make red wine.
Which do you prefer, rose or clairet ?
