Perfectly acceptable bottle of fizz – Czech’s most popular sparkling apparently – firm bubbles.

Korinek, Veltlinger, 2014, Czech

This was the best of the Czech / Moravian wines we sampled on our visit. Light alcohol, nice tingy fruit. Interesting, if a little disconcerting on a food table, label. Good value too compared to the foreign imports! Korinek is czech for root of a vine.
